Hi, I’m Alyssa

I am a creative, detail-oriented and highly motivated individual who offers experience in program planning and delivery, technology help, customer service and long term project planning in both solo and team settings.

From basic administrative assistance, research and content creation, I can be the extra brain you need. I am a self-starter who enjoys upskilling, so no request is too wild (don't make me regret saying this).

I believe in providing authors with a helping hand so that they can focus on writing, while building their readership and community.

ME AS A READER

I am a voracious book dragon who mood reads through many different genres. Top favourite genres include romance, fantasy, science fiction and horror. Slap me with worldbuilding, spice and/or gore, and I'm a happy camper.

Since 2021, I have been forcing my cats to be in photographs with books on Instagram (@catsandbookstacks), which has allowed me to make some amazing connections with readers and authors alike.

As part of my journey in reconciliation and out of deep respect for First Nations and Metis people, I would like to acknowledge that I live, work, play and read on Treaty 6 and Treaty 7 territories, the traditional territory of the Niisitapi (Blackfoot– including the Siksika, the Piikuni, and the Kainai Peoples), the Tsuut’ina, Stoney Nakoda, Cree, Saulteaux and the Métis peoples of Region 3.

Are you looking to market a particular title?

Provide me with a digital copy of your title (I’m happy to read on KU as well), and I will prepare pull quotes and short/long hooks with marketable moments for you to utilize in promoting your book.

Packages start with word count & pull quotes. Bundle quotes with hooks and then add on video content.

Content is created with your brand and style in mind. You may be asked to share any preferred fonts, colour palettes, general aesthetics/themes and high-resolution image of cover and title text. Graphics and video packages include initial concept viewing and one final revision.

Currency

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Clients will be invoiced in their preferred currency.

Payment

I accept PayPal for payment. e-Transfers are available for Canadian clients, if desired.

For services under $100, payments are due up-front. Payments over $100 require 50% of the payment up-front, with the other 50% due prior to delivery of the final files.
